Experience
Software Developer – Zelifcam
Oct 2025 – Present | San Antonio, TX (On-site)
- Contribute to multiple full-stack web applications across frontend, backend, and database layers, shipping features and enhancements into staging and production.
- Built a geospatial mapping system that ingests county parcel data and GeoPackage files, renders property lines as polygons on an interactive map, and surfaces public landowner information.
- Implemented client-side KML upload and viewing functionality, allowing users to load and interact with geospatial files directly in the browser.
- Integrated indexed full-text search across parcels by name, address, and parcel ID, delivering low-latency lookups over large datasets.
- Designed and built the database schema from scratch for a new product line, then continued shipping features and enhancements on top of it alongside another developer.
- Performed major frontend and backend overhaul of a client-inherited application, improving usability, stability, and core functionality before re-delivery.
- Operate within an AI-assisted development workflow: review implementation plans, validate generated code against requirements, run smoke tests, and open and merge MRs into staging for QA review before tech lead promotion to production.
Software Engineering Analyst – Accenture Federal Services
Nov 2024 – May 2025 | San Antonio, TX (Hybrid)
- Supported CMS workflows in a Scala-based enterprise environment while awaiting clearance processing.
- Executed scripts, performed environment support tasks, and participated in Agile ceremonies within a federal consulting team.
- Role concluded as part of organization-wide reductions following federal contract changes.
Software Engineering Intern – American Bureau of Shipping (ABS Group)
Oct 2023 – Oct 2024 | San Antonio, TX (Hybrid)
- Built a client-facing desktop application in VB.NET and WinForms for opening, viewing, and editing KML/KMZ geospatial files, including polygon and boundary area modifications, delivered to an external customer.
- Contributed to an internal VB.NET application, implementing features and resolving bugs through hands-on coding and iterative debugging.
- Worked across feature development, testing, and refinement using a mix of independent problem-solving and AI-assisted development.
Software Engineering Intern – H-E-B
May 2023 – Aug 2023 | San Antonio, TX (Hybrid)
- Contributed to a Kubernetes admission controller webhook in Go that validated required Datadog tags on pods before allowing them into the cluster.
- Gained working exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native development practices in a production-style engineering environment.
- Collaborated with a mentor and team on implementation, testing, and deployment workflows.
